Giving Tuesday

This Giving Tuesday, A Better World Community Development Corporation (ABWCDC) is reaching out to you to help make a difference in the lives of young, ambitious entrepreneurs through our program Teens That Mean Business (TTMB).

TTMB  is a premier hands-on, paid six week student internship that partners Black and Brown students with established local businesses, government officials and organizations during the summer.

The Mission

Our mission is simple and impactful: to empower teens with tools, mentorship and resources they need to turn their business dreams into reality.

Since 2019, 81 students have come through TTMB and with your help, we can expand the program to reach even more students.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 and with your support, we can continue to foster the entrepreneurial spirit in the next generation of innovators and increase access to TTMB through:

• EXPANDING ACCESS – Increase the number of students accepted from 30 to 50 in 2025

• EXTENDING LEARNING – Provide a year-long curriculum, starting with a pilot, that can be used in the schools the students attend, building on what they learned during the summer; and lastly

• ELEVATING LEADERS - Provide experienced TTMB graduates an opportunity to take on leadership roles within the program, developing their skills, while mentoring the next generation of student interns.
