Our Mission

To coordinate programs that inform and equip individuals towards fostering healthy families, locally and globally.

Our Values: Healthy Families

A family is two or more individuals who are ancestrally, socially, emotionally, culturally, or economically linked. Because families share in their members’ successes and are supportive and uplifting during their defeats, ABWCDC provides programs with the ultimate goal of survival and thriving of all family members.

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a better world through programs that provide holistic services in socio-economic development, education, and spiritual growth to multigenerational and multi-faceted families.

Our Programs

Teens That Mean Business

ABWCDC offers high school students who have an interest in entrepreneurship summer internships. As an intern with the Teens the Means Business (“TTMB”) program, a six-week stipend-based internship, teens are able to gain knowledge and exposure to entrepreneurship, future career opportunities, and financial education.

Exiting Egypt

ABWCDC’s annual socio-economic development conference that strives to provide a pathway to financial empowerment. It provides conference participants, such as entrepreneurs, small business owners, educators, and health professionals, with tools and workshops that will enable them to lift themselves out of bondage, as the Israelites did so under the leadership of Moses. Building on its legacy, in 2020, the annual Exiting Egypt conference was held virtually with upwards of 150 participants and incorporated resources to address the social and mental health challenges that were exacerbated by the global COVID-19 pandemic.

South Africa Project

Provides an 8-week summer program for 10 South African children and 2 educators. Over that summer, these South African children became a part of the EBC family. Our volunteer host families provided food, shelter, clothing and education, not only to the program participants, but also to their families back in South Africa.

Small business development

ABWCDC equips individuals who have a desire to be supportive of others in their family or community. The Business Directory is a resource that allows our community to connect and consider each other first for business opportunities. We strive to support business growth and activity, as well as financial and social empowerment for our families. Contact us to join our business directory.
